What anti-virus technology are used on SXL mail server?

SXL mail server is protected by Symantec CarrierScan Antivirus Software, which is automatically updated every 4 hours. All incoming and outgoing emails are scanned before delivery. If a virus is found, the email is deleted automatically.
Some executable attachments extensions (.exe, .com, .pif, .scr, .bat, etc) are also automatically blocked.
Although SXL has implemented a sophisticated antivirus engine on our server, we cannot guarantee it is 100% safe. Customers are recommanded to use a updated anti-virus program on their own computer.
