SXL by default do NOT provide frontpage access to web sites, if you would like to use Frontpage extension, please contact SXL to install the frontpage extension for you.
After frontpage extension is installed, you can use one of the 2 methods publish your web page
(the following example is based on Frontpage 2002)
Method 1:
1. Open Frontpage
2. Open your local web site (usually http://localhost)
3. Click File > Publish Web
4. In Enter Publish Destination, type your web site address (example: http://www.mycompany.com). Note: you must type http:// as the prefix.
5. Click OK
6. Input your user name and password
7. Click Publish
Method 2:
1. Open Frontpage
2. Click File > Open Web
3. Type your web site address (example: http://www.mycompany.com). Note: you must type http:// as the prefix.
4. Input your user name and password
5. You can then direct edit files on the web server.
