Internet is good but dangerous. We provide several levels of
protection for your internet network.
Basic IP Filtering by NAT Router

For
customers of our broadband service, we provide a firewall router which come
with IP Filtering function. IP Filtering is a safe way to protect
your internal network, because it simply block ALL in-coming network
requests. However, it is not suitable when you intentionally want to let
outsiders to connect to your network. For example, setting up a
email or web server inside your company.
Linux IPcop Server
IPcop
is a very stable, very secure and very popular open-sourced Linux
application which is employed in many many large corporations and small
office. IPcop is free-of-charge but very powerful. Major features are:
-
IPChains-based firewall
- External interface support PPPoE ADSL connections
Internet.
- DMZ Support on separated interface
- Web-based GUI Administration System
- DHCP server, Caching DNS, Http proxy, TCP/UDP port forwarding
- Intrusion detection system (Snort)
- IPSec based VPN Support (FreeSWAN) with 3DES
IPCop is a complete firewall installation, taking
control of the machine and replacing any other operating system that is
installed. Therefore, it is not similar to packages like ipchains or any of
the GUI firewall administration tools. It is not an additional security
service you would run on your machine; rather, it is a complete operating
system and firewall administration kit in a box that the user would dedicate
a single machine to house and run as an Internet gateway.
